Guests from all disciplines of STEM, affiliated with prestigious institutes, come to Stuyvesant to share their research — live, in person.
GENOME is a student-run speaker series at Stuyvesant High School. We host talks from esteemed members of the STEM workforce to present their research. Not a textbook summary, or dense scientific paper, but an interactive face-to-face lecture.
We exist because there is a two-mile stretch of upper Manhattan that holds some of the most important scientific research in the world — and most high school students never get to touch it. GENOME closes that gap.
Talks are free, open to all Stuyvesant students, and held after school. No prerequisites. Just curiosity.
